Houdini System

Houdini is often used with plug-ins such as Unreal Engine, Unity, Maya & 3D Max. AMD Threadripper Pro 7975WX 32-core is rated best processor - even better than AMD 64-core CPUs. 64GB of RAM is ideal as performance does not scale dramatically with more RAM. However, additional RAM is always helpful and usually has added benefit. An RTX 3090, RTX 4090 GPU or better are recommended. If using a render plug-in like VRay or Octane, a 2nd GPU is worth considering.
